My clients love working with me because I have been on the ‘cancer journey’ with loved ones being diagnosed, so
many times. I understand them.
They come to me and say they are grateful that I understand because other people don’t. I tell them that I am here
just for them. That is why I am here. I am actually wanting to share what I know and connect with them.
Just like the fireman, running toward the fire, I am running toward the women who have a loved one battling
cancer.
Of course many people don’t understand– how could they if they haven’t been exposed to these circumstances
before?
Of course they want to get away – it is painful. Maybe they have been exposed to cancer and are terrified. They are paralyzed by fear.
Other people don’t get us and that is okay.
It doesn’t mean we need to cut them out of our life entirely.
Many people are accidentally causing more suffering by insisting that others need to understand them.
You can still love them and live your truth even if they don’t understand.
I had one client tell me that she “didn’t have anyone to talk to”. No family, her close friends didn’t understand her
trials after her husband was diagnosed. My response was, “I am right here talking to you, right now. We found
each other even though we live almost 3000 miles apart. I understand. This is no accident.”
It is no accident that you are reading this right now. I understand all the emotions when a loved one is diagnosed,
battling cancer, or their battle is ending. I have been through it all. I have tools to help you.
If you want to release unhelpful suffering and find some relief, I would love to connect.
